When We Are Closed

When the surgery is closed (18:30 to 08:00 Monday to Friday and at weekends and bank holidays) if you have an urgent medical problem which cannot wait until the surgery reopens, please dial 111.

Alternatively you can attend the Walk-in Centre at St George’s Hospital, open daily 08:00 to 22:00 (telephone 020 8700 0502) or there is a Minor Injuries Treatment Centre at Queen Mary’s Hospital, Roehampton, open from 07:00 to 11:00 (telephone 020 8487 6000).

No appointment is needed at either of these clinics.

Pharmacists are qualified to give advice on common complaints, such as coughs and colds and aches and pains. They can also answer any questions about medicines, healthy eating and stopping smoking. You can talk to the pharmacist in confidence and you do not need an appointment.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
